Behind the first Discord username sale on June 15, 2023. Pioneered Gmail securing when Outlook accounts were favored.
Rare Discord usernames.
Accounts with legacy badges.
Start with where it came from.
01 Ownership
Understand the ownership history and what comes with the account.
Original email (OGE) means the email first associated with the account. Confirm who can access it, which recovery options apply, and the scope of any original-owner arrangement.
02 Details
Get a clear picture before you go ahead.
03 Access 10 steps
Credentials & ownership verification
Confirm the Discord login and access to the associated email inbox. Make sure you are checking the inbox address linked to the account being reviewed.
Successful sign-in confirms access at that moment. Continue with the history and recovery checks before drawing conclusions about ownership.
Credentials & ownership verification
Search for older Discord messages, including registration, verification and email-change notices. Compare them with the account’s history and look for the original registration email.
A matching date supports the history you are reviewing; it does not prove ownership. If registration, session or join dates disagree, keep that discrepancy unresolved until you have evidence explaining it.
Credentials & ownership verification
If the inbox is empty, the original email (OGE) remains unverified. Ask for the available records.
If an actual unauthorized change occurred, give Discord Support an accurate account of what happened. Preserve a truthful timeline of the change and the access you still have.
Securing the OGE · Original email
Secure the inbox and its recovery accounts before updating Discord. If you use a separate Gmail as a recovery account and an Outlook backup, secure those accounts first.
Use accounts you control. Keep accurate registration details and a unique password for each account in a password manager.
Securing the OGE · Original email
Change the inbox password to a strong, unique password. Keep it different from the passwords on your recovery accounts.
Add a recovery email you use regularly and a phone number you own and will keep. Confirm that both work before removing an outdated recovery method.
Securing the OGE · Original email
Check signed-in devices, third-party access, forwarding, inbox filters and delegation. Remove anything you do not recognize.
Use the Google account security checks to review existing access alongside the new password and recovery settings.
Securing the OGE · Original email
Google may still send codes to previous recovery information for seven days. Check the Google recovery settings and any Microsoft security-info waiting period shown for the account before considering a change complete.
Complete each verification prompt before continuing. If changes are temporarily blocked, follow the provider’s recovery instructions. A waiting period alone does not establish ownership.
Securing the OGE · Original email
Once email access is secure, change the Discord password. Enable a passkey or authenticator-based MFA and save the backup codes somewhere private.
Follow Discord’s MFA setup and any verification prompts shown on the account. Review active sessions and remove unwanted authorized apps.
Post-securing audit & account safety
Request account data through User Settings → Data & Privacy → Request your data. Review account details, available message history, sessions and connections for activity you do not recognize.
A Discord data package can take up to 30 days. Manually deleted messages are excluded, so the package gives you a partial history to review.
Post-securing audit & account safety
Use Discord’s reporting tools for abusive or illegal content. Stop opening attachments; do not download, save or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material.
Original email access, passwords, MFA and recovery settings all matter. None alone guarantees ownership or recovery. If access is disputed or compromise is suspected, preserve a truthful timeline and use the official support process.

Legacy badge
A piece of Discord’s early Nitro history.
Associated with Discord's early paid Nitro supporters. Its history makes it one of the most recognizable badges among collectors.
It reflects an account's early support history. It does not establish current account standing or guarantee value.
Legacy developer badge
A legacy badge from Discord’s bot verification program.
Associated with developers who qualified under Discord's bot verification program. It represents a developer-related account history.
The badge is a historical attribute; it is not an endorsement of a seller or a promise about an account's current standing.
Legacy community program
A legacy badge for owners in Discord’s Partner Program.
Associated with Discord's Partner Program, which recognized qualifying communities and their owners.
The program is a legacy program. A Partner badge should not be read as an official relationship between Discord and this marketplace.
Legacy events program
A badge from Discord’s HypeSquad Events program.
Associated with participation in Discord's HypeSquad Events program and its community activities.
Its meaning comes from that program history. Availability and eligibility have changed over time.
Now Moderator Programs Alumni
The former certification badge, now Moderator Programs Alumni.
Associated with Discord's former moderator certification program and its educational requirements. The badge is now known as Moderator Programs Alumni.
It represents participation in a past program, rather than a current Discord staff role.

Recognition from Discord’s bug-reporting program.
Associated with participation in Discord's bug-reporting and security feedback programs.
Eligibility and program availability vary. The badge itself does not verify ownership history or account standing.
Higher-tier Bug Hunter badge
The higher-tier Bug Hunter badge.
A distinct, higher-tier Bug Hunter badge associated with Discord's bug-reporting program.
Its rarity can attract collectors, while authenticity, account history, and current demand remain important.
Understand the history behind the icon.
Badges cannot be transferred between accounts. A visible badge does not confirm current standing or guarantee it will remain after an ownership change.
Eligibility, availability and program status can change.
Staff badges are strictly excluded. We do not offer them, list them or assign them a market price.
Discord Certified Moderator / Moderator Programs Alumni badges are not categorically excluded.
Collectible account history is separate from a current Discord role, program or endorsement.
Length, simplicity, recognizability, rarity and current demand affect appeal. Value changes with supply and buyer interest.
Ask about previous owners, known restrictions, current standing and ownership provenance. The people involved matter as much as the visible attributes.

OGE refers to the original email associated with an account. Whether it is included, and what access or recovery arrangements apply, depends on the account. Ask the team to explain the exact terms.
Badges belong to accounts and cannot be moved between them. The badge guide explains profile history; it is not a list of standalone badges for sale.
